It was a beautiful day here.  After helping out at a church lunch group this afternoon I spent some time walking around a local garden, and took a few photos.

Such pretty photos … always so nice to see color in the midst of a gray winter!

And about your blog appearing on the “front page” of WordPress – I’m not quite sure what you mean by the “‘front page’ of WordPress”. I know you can create a “front page” for your own blog, which I still haven’t figured out how to do, and honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a “front page” of WordPress with peoples blogs on it. The only way I know of to see a list of other blogs is to go to my ‘Reader’, and on the left I’ll click either ‘Blogs I Follow’, ‘Freshly Pressed’, or ‘Recommended Blogs’. You probably already know that, though, but I know there’s a lot to figure out here on WP, that’s for sure. I am following a site that might have the answer for you though: Me, I came from a ‘simple’ blog host called Xanga, and it’s taken me a little while to figure out what I have, up to this point, here on WordPress. I also have a site on Blogger, which was even easier than Xanga, but I couldn’t import my files there as easily, and more of my friends moved here anyway, so here I am! I do hope you’ll find some help on that site to solve your problem! 🙂

Thanks for the link to wpbegginer I will have to check that out! I am finding WordPress a bit confusing. I have not figured out how to follow someone but when I do I’d like to follow your blog 🙂 Thank you for all your comments and your encouragement. It’s nice to “meet” you!
